of the apps available to help with overall
diabetes management, as well as handy
programmes to help make sticking to
a healthier lifestyle that little bit simpler.
From offering healthier options to your
usual choices to creating shopping lists,
these apps have it covered.
Best in Bag
Specifically designed for people with
diabetes, Best in Bag makes light work of
comparing the nutritional value of items,
helping you to make informed choices
when selecting what to buy. Developed
by someone with Type 1 diabetes who
grew tired of trying to calculate nutritional
values and total carbs, the app offers a
number of features to support eating and
shopping behaviours.
To get the most from the app, you
can set up a personal profile so it can
make recommendations for you based
upon your dietary and medical needs,
including allergies. You can then scan
over 280,000 products or choose from
a bank of over 10,000 recipes to easily
compare products. The app will then rank
