Supermarkets report steady upwards sales, so much so that they
pay particular attention to how to
reduce wastage of this fruit. P.30.
There is so much going on at the moment! We have more
news than usual in this issue to try to keep on top of it
all. As a result there are non less than five news pages
in this issue. Various bits of diabetes kit. are getting CE Marks and
FDA approvals, which means they are able to be taken to market,
meaning we might eventually get our own hands on them. Read
more on p. 9. Then there's an upate on the Desang range of
kitbags on page 10, part of the travel theme in this issue, as these
are a boon for holidays, short trips as welll as for daily carrying of
kit. If you need to keep your insulin cool, then take a look at our
feature on p. 12. The Quality in Care Awards 2018 nominations are still
open to entries, deadline is 13 July. So if you know of someone who's doing
a great job in the arena of diabetes care, then you can help get them some
