LIVINGLIVING
Let's go!
If you've overdone it on the G&Ts, perhaps
you'll be in need of a coffee. Yallah Coffee
has launched a coffee that supports
the rejuvenation of the Jubilee Pool in
Penzance, by donating 50p from every bag
sold and in celebration of the awesome
outdoor pool's reopening in late July after
a huge rebuilding project. Plans to heat
a section of the pool to 35°C all year
round using natural geothermal energy
are underway, due to open in November.
Yallah Coffee Jubilee Pool collaboration
bag can be tasted (and bought) at the
Jubilee Pool café.
Yallah Coffee was founded by Rich
Blake after travelling along the coastline
of Morocco. Meaning 'let's go' in Arabic,
Yallah started from humble beginnings
with a restored 1950s roaster, a leaky barn,
and a goal to build a sustainably- focused business. Based on a farm in a workspace
powered by solar, heated with biomass with workshops and studios populated by a
group of people with a strong sense of community and shared values of sustaining the
environment. They also share a passion for playing outdoors with the sea being just a
few miles down the road. Offering sustainably sourced coffee and placing a high value on
