Steenbergs was the first UK company to become a Fairtrade spice trader. Its luxury
organic Fairtrade Christmas Drinking Chocolate is flavoured with vanilla, cinnamon,
ginger, cardamom, allspice and cloves in order to create a warming drink redolent
of the Christmas season. Now its Christmas range can be bought from Oxfam, with
spicy Fairtrade Christmas Tea and festive Fairtrade Christmas Drinking Chocolate on
their shop shelves.
Steenbergs now has 90 Fairtrade products in their online store, Steenbergs having
added Thyme for the first time this year. The range includes teas, drinking chocolate,
herbs and spices (such as cloves and ginger) and blends (like Garam Masala) as
well as sugars (cinnamon, lemon, and mixed spice) and home baking items (such as
vanilla pods). You can use the spices and flavoured sugars to bake Christmas cakes,
puddings and biscuits or flavour your festive dishes.
