Uwe Diegel was a concert pianist
until 1992 when, at the age of 26, he
had an accident that partially restricted
movements of his right arm, so he began
a career in medical diagnostics regarding
blood pressure, temperature, asthma and
diabetes, about which he holds several
patents. In 2009, he started focusing
on connected health as a tool to better
manage patients and chronic diseases.
He got involved in iHealth, a global leader
in connected healthcare, taking signals
from the body and translating them
intelligibly through Smartphones and
tablets. CEO of iHealthLabs Europe until
2016, he left iHealth in September 2016
to develop the Lifeina project.
