Mead in
heaven
Gosnells has come up with new ideas
for the world's oldest alcoholic drink,
mead. One of these is a gift-boxed
75cl bottle of Gosnells of London
5.5% mead. Sparkling, gluten-free
Gosnells of London 5.5% aims to
take mead away from its dark colour,
strong sweet flavours and highstrength
past. In spite of being made
of honey and water, this mead is
more characteristic of an elegant
white wine and is lower in alcohol
than traditional mead. It contains
no added sugar, sulphites, artificial
flavours or colourings. Vintage 2021
mead is available online at £17 for a
75cl bottle.

programmes to the world's poorest communities.
The new bottles are available in stockists such as Ocado, Master of
Malt, Fuller's Pubs and Majestic Wine or online. One Gin Classic with sage,
juniper and citrus, and One Crisp Apple with juniper, russet apple and sage,
