Virtual Reality
For those that were unable to attend
the United Through Diabetes event
held in September by the charity
Diabetes Research and Wellness
Foundation (DRWF), there is now an
online hub available. This brings a
wealth of resources including videos
and interviews from the day. The
content is tailored to help people
with all types of diabetes to increase
their knowledge, practical skills
and confidence in order to enhance
their diabetes self-management and
overall health and wellbeing.
So, if you could not attend the
day, maybe take a look in your own
time. For those that did make the big
day, the United Through Diabetes
Digital Hub gives the opportunity
to recap on content from the day as
well as a chance to see some of the
content you might not have had time
to catch on the day.
We've created this hub to
continue supporting you with your
diabetes management and to also
give you a space that you can visit to
re-cap on the wealth of information
and support that was available on the
day. We've done our best to include
as much content from the event as
we can for you, including a gallery
of photos from the day as well as
podcasts and interviews with guest
speakers, exhibitors and attendees
and a selection of filmed sessions
from the programme. There are also
a virtual exhibitor area featuring
all the diabetes organisations that
joined us to support the event.
