Kimchi ketchup
Three quarters of Brits enjoy
a condiment with every meal.
Now for the first time in UK
supermarkets, there's a range of
fresh sauces that are live-cultured
and naturally fermented (Kimchi
Ketchup and Hot Pepper) or cold
brined (Hot Jalapeno).
Fans of ketchup and hot sauces
and who are avoiding added sugar,
can try the new range of table
sauces from Vadasz which are
made with all-natural ingredients.
The range of condiments includes
Kimchi Ketchup, Hot Pepper Sauce
and Hot Jalapeno Sauce. These are
made by harnessing the natural
and health-preserving benefits of
pickling and fermenting, providing
a healthier and more delicious
option to ambient condiments that
contain sugar and preservatives.
Lower in sugar than traditional
ketchup they also contain
probiotics, proven to be good for
gut health and immunity. With
that distinctive fermented kimchi
flavour and ingredient combination
Vadasz Kimchi Ketchup brings
something unique to the table. It
is made with traditional kimchi
ingredients; Chinese leaf, carrot,
spring onion, Korean chilli flakes
(Gochugaru), fresh ginger, garlic,
and sea salt. Adding this sauce will
bring an umami depth of flavour
to any dish - add to eggs; whether
boiled, scrambled or fried, in a
grilled cheese sandwich, drizzled
over fries, or in a burger to add
fresh flavour and mild heat.
The brand's hot sauce, Vadasz's
Hot Pepper, is live cultured and
naturally fermented and contains
absolutely no added sugar. It has a
fresh and deep heat to it. Use it to
enhance the flavour of a pho, add
heat to jerk chicken, spice up a
stir fry or add to a sandwich.
Meanwhile, its Hot Jalapeno
Sauce is produced using the same
cold brined process that Vadasz
uses for creating their awardwinning Jalapeno
Relish and
Garlic & Dill Pickles, and has a
bold, punchy flavour. Take tacos
to the next level or add a twist
to a classic lamb kofta kebab; the
chilled nature of the product and
the cold brining process means
the pickle flavours really shine
through, offering a stronger and
sweeter taste profile to other
sauces.
The Vadasz range includes:
Kimchi, Super Beet Kimchi, Garlic
and Dill Sauerkraut, Pineapple &
Turmeric Sauerkraut, Red Onion
Pickles and Garlic & Dill Pickles,
and Jalapeno Relish. Vadasz
is available in Waitrose, M&S,
CoOp, Sainsbury's, Ocado, Asda
and Tesco and vadaszdeli.co.uk
