encased in a sleek glass bottle. It has zero calories and no added sugars. It's
just fruit-infused sparkling water. The Voss Infusion range features three
invigorating citrus-based flavors: Lemon Cucumber, Lime Mint, and Tangerine
Lemongrass. Available online from Amazon and Ocado, and can be found at
the Food Halls of Harrods Food Hall and Selfridges.
Posh 'slaws'
Florette Gourmet Slaws feature the
finest tastes from around the world
with South and East Asian inspired
flavours and adding a dash of colour
and inspiration to salads, sandwiches,
wraps - and more.
These slaws will brighten any meal
as they're light, crunchy and full of
flavour. These products is their ability
to blend the new with the familiar.
Each pot will provide 3-4 servings
and is suitable for vegetarians. All
packaging is recyclable and the
pots themselves are made from FSC
sourced material.
The three distinctly different
flavours will appeal to all sorts:
Korean Gochujang (215g), a blend of
aromatic spices and chilli with carrot,
red cabbage, and red onion; Indian
Spiced (195g), a combination of Indian
flavours and yoghurt with mixed
colourful cabbages and red onion;
Chinese Inspired (185g), a tangy mix
of soy and ginger with white cabbage,
carrot, and red onion.
Gold gets stars
It has been a busy couple of months for Borderfields, not least with this year's
oilseed rape harvest, a Great Taste Award, and the launch of a new batch of
recipes, courtesy of award-winning chef and food campaigner Rachel Green
and award-winning photographer Michael Powell.
If you aren't aware of the simple delights of bread and oil, Green has
created a Meze Trio comprised of Beetroot and Garlic Hummus, Roasted Red
Pepper Dip and Pea Hummus. You can also serve the infused oils in small
bowls and share with bread for a delicious dipping experience.
A Pomegranate, Halloumi and Avocado Salad is ideal for al fresco dining in
any autumnal sunshine. The pomegranate seeds really bring this dish to life.
Another favourite is the Korean Chilli, Sesame and Honey Chicken Skewers
using Borderfields Chilli infused oil to give it a spicy kick.
A Vegan Singapore Noodles with Fried Tofu and Chilli can go from
wok to plate in 20 minutes. For pudding fans, there's a Strawberry and
Pistachio Rapeseed Oil Cake, made with polenta. For winter, try the one-pot
Slow Cooked Beef with Cheddar and Herb Dumplings. Full recipes on the
company's website.
