LIVING
Your Type Won story
Celebrainge the double 'win' of managing life with
Type 1 diabetes - and thriving.
Documentary film maker
Simon Ruben is behind a
series of short films about
living with Type 1 diabetes
after his son was diagnosed eight
years ago, at the age of five.
He says, "Join us in sharing and
supporting the journeys of people
living with Type 1 diabetes in a short
documentary film series. In these
we are looking to exploring people's
emotional worlds, their resilience,
and the transformative power of
connection.
"We recognise that advocacy and
community support are as essential
as insulin therapy. We are dedicated
to showcasing inspiring life stories
through our upcoming films, while
also striving to raise awareness about
the importance of emotional health in
managing chronic disease."
Do you live with T1D and live
in the UK? Type Won is looking for
contributors to share their story and
inspire others (those who want to
share their experiences and thoughts
but do not want to appear in the films
are welcome too).
