United Through
Diabetes 2025
Lee Calladine, event coordinator
at Diabetes Research
and Wellness Foundation
(DRWF) has given us an update
on this year's activities with the
charity.
He told us, "If you haven't seen
any of this year's United Through
Diabetes (UTD) details on our social
media posts or in the quarterly
newsletter yet, please take a look at
our calendar of in-person events and
webinars [see link below]".
We've got something for everyone
from diabetes and eye health to Type
2 prevention and remission, how you
can get involved in diabetes research,
managing diabetes during festive
holidays and cultural events to bloodglucose
monitoring and managing
diabetes in the autumn and winter
months, plus our Type 1 family camps,
so we hope you'll join us.
"We've already held our Diabetes
and Travelling webinar, but don't
worry if you missed it, as we record
these and the Q&A questions and
they are subsequently uploaded them
to our UTD Hub along with lots of
supporting resources.
"In addition, Dr Mayank Patel
has published article in stigma in
healthcare. He speaks eloquently on
this subject in a recent DRWF podcast
- it's a two-parter and worth a listen
[to do so, CLICK HERE].
"We'll be posting out reminders
of all of this year's events on social
media and on our website. If you
have any questions in the meantime
though, please just let me know and
I'll be happy to answer them. We
are looking forward to welcoming
you to our United Through Diabetes
programme over the remainder of
this year."
