to look at as well as to eat, it's a
relatively simple recipe. Made with
Bonne Maman Hazelnut Chocolate
Spread it is moist with a creamy
fudge frosting and decorated with a
white chocolate 'crown,' jewelled with
nuts and edible gold sparkles.

Sandford Orchards has
launched a limited-edition
Coronation Devon Red Cider.
It is a celebration of all things
British and the perfect thirstquencher for
any coronation
festivities. Barny Butterfield,
Chief Cidermaker at Sandford
Orchards comments, "Most of us
are too young to remember the
last coronation so we are eagerly
anticipating some fantastic
celebrations across the country
this time around. We wanted
to mark the occasion with the
launch of our Coronation Limited
Edition Devon Red Cider, which
is created from British apples
grown in our orchards rooted in
the rich, red, fertile soil. These
are also pressed in Devon using
traditional methods at the oldest
working cider mill in the UK.
No coronation parties will be
complete without it. Why would
you toast the new King's health
with French champagne when
you can raise a glass of 100%
British cider?"
Sweet tartness
Also new and a limited edition is
Luscombe's Rose & Cherry Bubbly.
A non-alcoholic fizz fit for a royal
celebration and to toast the coronation
of King Charles III, it is a sparkling blend
of organic rose and cherries, naturally
sweetened with muscat grape and
finished with Sicilian lemons and soft
Devon spring water.
Awarded a Royal Warrant in 2021,
in recognition of their products which
are enjoyed by the Royal Households,
Luscombe took inspiration from the
rose featured in the coronation emblem
when crafting the Rose & Cherry Bubbly.
Gently sparkling, the exquisite bubbly
balances the sweet-tartness and burst
of cherries with the delicate floral notes
of the rose. It can be served chilled on
its own, or with a premium spirit and
a citrus garnish. Like all the drinks in
Luscombe's range it contains no artificial
additives, sweeteners or concentrates
and is gluten free and vegan friendly
Luscombe is based in a valley
of Dartmoor, South Devon. Unlike
most soft drink producers, all the
products in the range are made by the
Luscombe team onsite, blending the
finest organic fruits sourced from the
very best farmers and growers in the
world, with its own source of Dartmoor
spring water.
Luscombe Rose & Cherry Bubbly
can be purchased as 12x27cl bottles
