advances, company mergers, buy-outs and so on. By

I
do keep using the phrase movers
and shakers… though I'm not
entirely sure where it comes
from. Just seems to work to
describe what's going on. What's
always going on. Small companies
grow bigger. Some companies merge.
Some buy others out. Some slim
down and spin out parts into new
entities.
On a day-to-day level, it might
not make that much difference to
those of us that live with diabetes on
an hourly basis every day, but it can
lead to advances, improvements in
technology and treatments, but also
occasionally a reduction in choice as
some products are taken out of the
market. So, having said that, let's see
what's new now.
